PLEASE REMEMBER, police departments will NEVER call citizens and ask for money. Utility companies will usually send a mail notice versus a phone call. You should never give personal or financial information over the phone. If you find a call suspicious, hang up and call police.

IRS scam is still active - IRS will never call, they mail notices. They have dept that handles tax scams to call & report. Number can be found on web site IRS.gov.
They called me saying they are the irs and that I needed to pay 9k or go to jail

I got a call from some place saying they are a law office and if I didn't give them 327 dollars in 30 mins I was going to jail. They said it was for a loan that I owed. I don't ever get loans same company called my sister in law and mother in law looking for me and said they were cops

I got a call that I took out a payday loan four years ago from "paragon something" in the amount of $450. I could pay them $970 or go to court and be sued for $2675. I chose to be sued.

I would like know the phone number to report theses scams. Isn't there a number for reporting scams that is a working number I tried to report it and was transferred to three different numbers. Never got to report the scam.

I've got a few calls. They could barely speak English. They said they were from the National Treasury and I hav $7,623 for me and wanted my SSN. Shouldn't you already have that information. Dial tone, they hang up.
